History
Pelican Players
We are proud of our history. Over the years, there are many stories to tell. Our existence and purpose was the foresight of Shirley Jones back in 1981. She followed her instinct and heart to create Pelican Players, Inc. The purpose of our community theater has never changed over the years. We continue giving to our community through the Community Foundation Tampa Bay by giving annual scholarships to area high school students. We have saved pieces of our history from our beginnings. We would like to share some of them with you through photographs and descriptions. Click the photo album below. Enjoy.
